devotional - day 28

Colossians 2:2 (msg) I want you woven into a tapestry of love, in touch with everything there is to know of God. Then you will have minds confident and at rest, focused on Christ.

Forsaken

But not forgotten

Blinders on 

So my focus is 

  myopic

Singular

Reaching out

But grabbing air

again.

Trying to pinpoint what I’m feeling

  disappointment?

  fatigue?

  yearning/longing?

  reluctance 

     to believe 

       in the good?

Bludgeoning the barrier

  between fear and love

With the power of God

Releasing shame

And grasping onto confidence.

It isn't easy, but each day - maybe moment by moment - remind yourself you are worthy of grace - no matter the past. No matter the mistakes. No matter the crappy behavior of a wounded you. We all deserve to heal. May it be so for you. :)
